Must be 21 years of age to rent a
campsite or cabin.
Site Fee includes 1 camping unit with 2 adults and 2 unmarried
children less than 18 years of age. Extra person fees apply for
additional occupants not covered in the site fee. No more than 4
adults per site. Maximum site occupancy is 6. Must be 21 years of
age to rent a campsite or cabin. Wristbands are included with all
overnight camping rates and paid daily admission fees. Children of
registered campers and their guests that are under the age of 4
are FREE. All Children older than 18 are considered adults and the
extra person fee will apply. Seniors (ages 64 and up) for the day
are FREE (no wristband included in admission). Seniors overnight
are 1/2 price of the adult overnight extra persons fee and
includes wristband. One (1) tent only is permitted on our Rustic
sites. Additional tent for immediate children (17 yrs. &
under) has a one-time charge of $10. Limit one per site.
Occupancy as quoted in our current park brochure (base rate
includes 2 adults, 2 children). Cabins 1 thru 5 and 26-35 are pet
friendly and have a daily, per pet fee. NO pets permitted in
Rustic Cabins 6-25 or in or at any deluxe cabins. No tents or
campers permitted at cabins. Trash should be taken to the Trash
Compactor located at the Resort Office. Do not alter any part of
the campsite such as shrubs, tree branches, fire rings etc. Quiet
Hours are 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM. No firewood permitted to be brought
in. WASHING OF TRAILERS OR VEHICLES is prohibited. Seals must be
used on all SEWER CONNECTIONS. Dumping of gray, sink or black
water onto the ground is prohibited by State Law. Use the dumping
stations for trailers and porta-potties. Do not wash clothing or
dishes in the restrooms. YOUNG CHILDREN must be accompanied by an
adult in the restrooms, laundry, lake, and recreation areas.
Children must be at their site by 10:30 PM on weekends and 9:30 PM
VISITORS / OVERNIGHT GUESTS: GUESTS/VISITORS must
register at the oﬃce and sign a registration slip agreeing to the
campground policies and pay a fee upon arrival. Please ask for a
copy of those policies before proceeding into the campground.
Children under the age of 4 are FREE. All Children older than 18
are considered adults and the extra person fee will apply. Seniors

people per site including all overnight guests. Wristbands are
included with the paid daily admission fees and are required to
be worn while on campground property. Overnight guests must stay
in the same unit as the registered camper. If the guest would
like their own site or cabin they need to come by the Resort
Office during regular business hours to check for availability.
The overnight guest fee can be applied to the site cost. The guest
must register his/her car and park on the visited site. Day guests
will need to leave the campground by 10:00 PM weekdays and 11:00
PM Friday - Saturday and Holiday weekends. Overnight guests,
please re-register before 11:00 AM. Campers are responsible for
their guests’ behavior. Guests / Visitors are not permitted to
bring their pets.
ALL VEHICLES must display a valid camp pass, which is to be hung
from the mirror in the center of the front windshield. The speed
limits as posted must be observed throughout the campground. These
are the most important policies and they are strictly enforced.
Sorry, the use of electric or gas powered, motorcycles, motorized
scooters (unless handicap approved)/ motorized bikes or ATVs are
not permitted on campground property. Campground speed limit is 5
MPH. Children’s motorized toy vehicles may be used at the campsite
only and may not be driven on any campground roads, playgrounds or
FIRES / FIREWORKS: Fires are
restricted to the site campfire ring. No bonfires (outside the
ring). Please douse your fire with water before turning in for the
night. No firearms or fireworks are permitted inside the
ALCOHOL / BEHAVIOR: No kegs, barrels or other
bulk tap quantities are permitted without prior consent of the
Park Manager. Drunkenness, profanity, fighting, indecent exposure
of the person or any other disorderly conduct is prohibited and
the violator will be expelled from the park without a refund. The
use of loudspeakers (car radios), public address systems or flood
lights is prohibited.
LAKE & POOLS: Lake swimming
is marked by the blue and white swim line at the beach. Please do
not swim in any other part of the lake. NO Lifeguards on Duty at
Beach or Pools. Swim at your own risk. All children under the age
of 13 must be accompanied by an adult at the pools and beaches.
Inner tubes and other small water inflatable toys are permitted in
the lake. No inflatable dingy boats are allowed. No large
floatable toys are permitted in the pool or the lake. Michigan Law
does not permit dogs within or around designated beach swimming
areas. No pets are permitted on the outdoor patios by the banquet
hall or activities building or in the pool swimming area. No glass
containers are permitted on the beach or in the pool areas.
Campground rental boats are the only water craft permitted on the
lake. No electric or outboard motors can be used on the lake.
CANCELLATION POLICY: We do not give credit or refunds due
to the discomforts of nature. The fun continues rain or shine. No
refunds for early departure. Our refund policy varies, depending

PETS: LHC PERSONNEL LOVE PETS BUT FOR THE
SAFETY AND COMFORT OF ALL CAMPERS WE HAVE ESTABLISHED THE
FOLLOWING RULES. Restrictive breeds such as Pit Bulls, Dobermans
or Rottweilers are not allowed into the campground. All pets must
be on a leash no longer than 6 feet in length, when outside the
camper. Pets must be attended at all times, even when tied up. Pet
waste must be immediately picked up and properly disposed of in a
plastic bag. Animals are not allowed on the beach, in the pool
area or in any of the buildings including the non-pet cabins. A
pet fee of $5.00 per pet per night, with a maximum of $25.00,
applies. Maximum of 2 pets per site. Rustic Cabins 1 thru 5 and
26-35 are pet friendly and have a daily, per pet fee. NO Pets
permitted in Rustic Cabins 6-25 or in or at any Deluxe Cabins.
