Camp Site:
- Check In Time is 3pm. Check out time is 2pm.
- Camp sites are angled, so remember to pull in at an angle in
your site.
- Site fee includes 1 camping unit per
site with 2 adults and 2 unmarried children less than
18 years of age. No more than 4 adults per site. Extra adults and
kids are subject to a fee. Maximum site occupancy is
6. Additional tents for immediate children (17 and
under) are $10. Limit one per site.
- Each motor vehicle must have a permit on the rear view mirror
and must remain there until leaving the park. Visitors must
register at the check in building to receive a visitor permit for
their rear view mirror.
- Clotheslines are not permitted in the trees. Do not alter any
part of the campsite such as shrubs, tree branches, fire
rings etc.
- Maximum 6 people (4 adults, 2 children) per Cabin. Campers
with pets can rent Cabins 1 through 5 and 26 through 35.
Cabins 6 through 25 are Pet Free so Pets are not allowed
inside or to be tied up outside these Cabins.
- Quiet hours are 11:00 pm- 8am.
Motor Vehicles:
- No mini bikes, dirt bikes, 4 wheelers or motorized scooters
are allowed to be operated inside the campground. Electric
scooters and bikes are ok. Golf carts are available to rent
in the park. Seasonal campers only are allowed to bring their own
golf carts into the campground.
- Campground speed limit is 5 MPH.
Fires / Fireworks:
- Fires are restricted to the site campfire ring. No bonfires
(outside the ring). Please douse your fire with water before
turning in for the night.
- No firearms or fireworks are permitted inside the campground.
Visitors / Overnight Guests:
- We now offer Day Passes for day use. Cost is $10 /adult and
$8/child and includes use of all facilities within the campground
from 9am-9pm daily.
- Maximum of 6 people per site for overnight guests. This
includes a maximum of 4 adults.
- Each additional adult(18-65yrs) day visitor is $7 ,
children 5 - 17 yrs are $5. Children 4 and under and
seniors over 65 are free when visiting guests. All visitors
must register with the office and sign a registration slip
agreeing to the campground policies. Please ask for a copy of
those policies before proceeding into the campground. All visitors
must leave the park by 11:00pm. Campers are responsible for their
guest's behavior.
- Each additional adult (18-65 yrs) for an overnight
stay is $7- additional children 5-17 yrs are $5. All overnight
guests need to register with the office and sign a registration
slip. Overnight guests must stay in the same unit as the
registered camper. If the guest would like their own site or cabin
they need to come to the office by 8pm to check availability. The
overnight guest fee can be applied to the site cost. The guest
must register his/her car and park on the visited site.
- Holiday visitor and overnight guest fees are Adults $10,
children 5 - 17 yrs $8.
- Visitors may not bring pets into the park.
Pets: LHC personnel love pets but for the safety
and comfort of all campers we have established the following
rules.
- Maximum of 2 pets per site.
- Aggressive breeds such as Pit Bulls, Dobermans, or Rottweilers
are not allowed into the campground.
- All pets must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet in length
when outside the camper. Pets must be attended at all times even
when tied up.
- Pet waste must be immediately picked up and properly disposed
of in a plastic bag.
- Animals are not allowed on the beach, in the pool area or in
any of the buildings including the cabins (with the exception of
Cabins 1-5 & 26-35).
Boats / Storage:
- Campground rental boats are the only water craft permitted on
the lake. No electric or outboard motors can be used on the lake.
- Boats used for Lake Huron or other lakes can be stored on your
campsite but must be registered at check in.
Alcohol / Behavior:
- All alcohol must be consumed on your site. Alcohol is not
permitted off your site or in any public buildings.
- No kegs, barrels or other bulk tap quantities are permitted
without prior consent of the Park Manager. Drunkenness, profanity,
fighting, indecent exposure of the person or any other disorderly
conduct is prohibited and the violator will be expelled from the
park without a refund.
- The use of loud speakers (car radios), public address systems,
or flood lights is prohibited.
- Radios, TV's, etc should not be heard on the next site.
Holiday Minimum Nights:
- All Holidays (Memorial Day, Fourth of July & Labor Day)
require a minimum 3 night stay with entire camping fee deposit due
at time of reservation.
- To help cover the costs of facility use, staff, recreation and
etc., the holiday fee for guests and overnight guests for holiday
periods is $10 for adults and $8 for kids.
20 Acre Lake & Pool:
- Lake swimming is marked by the blue and white swim line at the
beach. Please do not swim in any other parts of the lake.
- Inner tubes and other small water inflatable toys are
permitted in the lake. No inflatable dingy boats are allowed. For
your safety, no large floatable toys are permitted in the pool or
lake.
- Michigan Law does not permit dogs within or around designated
beach swimming areas. No pets are permitted on the outdoor patios
by the banquet hall or activities building or in the pool swimming
area. Pets can swim in all non-beach areas on our lake.
- No glass containers are permitted on the beach or in the pool
areas.
- Alcohol is not permitted at the lake or in the pool.
- Campground rental boats are the only water craft permitted on
the lake. No electric or outboard motors can be used on the lake.
Cancellation Policy:
- If you cancel your reservation 14 days or less, prior to
your arrival date, your entire deposit is forfeited. If you cancel
greater than 15 days there will be a $10.00 cancellation fee
assessed. No refunds for early departure or weather.
